Morgan On Film

I met up with Morgan on a beautiful sunny day. We met at Form & Function and grabbed a quick cup of coffee. We chatted for a bit and then made our way to a sweet location she scouted and thought would be great to use. When we were planning for this shoot I told Morgan I was hoping to shoot indoors because it was still pretty chilly out. Plus I just really enjoy shooting indoors for the contrast of highlights and shadows. When we were shooting I said I really wanted to get closer to this window that this location had. It was up high with no real ease of access. Morgan was able to prop her self up, but I have zero upper body to pull myself up this 6.5ft wooden platform. So I used the hand railing to get up here, pretty funny to see! I was stoked once we got up there because we had this HUGE window and the light was incredibly soft. I really enjoyed this shoot, I shot with the Rolleiflex and had something of a natural light studio. It was a perfect day shooting that filled with awesome creativity and conversation. I hope that I get another opportunity to work with Morgan!

Kinsey Anderson Pt. 2

Two days after the last shoot with Kinsey, we met up again in the North End of Boise. I was in search of pastel backgrounds. Which I would say was sort of successful. While searching near this abandoned house a neighbor had a goose, it scared the crap out of us with some serious anger issues or by being an alarm system haha. However Kinsey had this pink furry coat (sort of looked like a pink cookie monster fur :P haha) but she rocked the hell out of it! We walked down the hyde park alley ways where we came across this small area that just had great light and interesting contrast of shadows and light. Which with Kinsey's hair and jacket. I was just instantly loving everything. I just let her do her thing, with Lorde's Pure Heroine played. It was a good evening shooting and I know I'll have to do one more shoot with her before she ships off to Australia!
