Steel & Sagebrush

We headed out to the rugged beauty of Succor Creek, right on the Idaho/Oregon border, to capture something that felt timeless and wild. Jerusha had just returned to Idaho, and with her came a spark to create—along with access to a stunning, classic red Mustang that instantly set the tone for our vision.

The goal? A throwback to those free-spirited summer days of the 1970s. Golden light, dusty roads, and that effortless cool. The area near Succor Creek gave us exactly what we needed: dramatic cliffs, rolling hills, and wide open skies. The Mustang was more than just a prop—it was a character in the story. Paired with Jerusha’s energy and the natural backdrop, the vibe came together seamlessly.

This shoot was less about planning and more about feeling. We chased light, leaned into the moment, and let the landscape do its thing. It was all about celebrating movement, return, and the kind of nostalgia that lingers long after the sun dips behind the foothills.
